The Secure Signature Creation Device (SSCD) is a device that externally resembles a USB Flash drive. This device stores your digital certificates (for digital signature and encryption purposes).
This specific device has an installed base of several thousand units in Greece.
If you wish to obtain digital certificates from the Hellenic Public Administration Certification Authority (APED), you should follow the steps described on the
APED website.
