The EVIDEI application can speed up asset inventory counting, eliminating significant errors and increasing productivity.

DESKTOP APP

The desktop application is designed for Windows workstations and is primarily used for asset management. You can enter and edit assets, track various information about the condition, classification or location of assets, history and all changes, lending your assets to third parties or evidence of assets you have borrowed from third parties.

In addition, there is the ability to track accessories, suppliers and serial numbers, along with photos, notes and attachments. Label printing and reporting are also standard features of the app. Data is securely stored in Microsoft SQL Server.

MOBILE APP

The mobile application is designed for mobile devices with Android operating system.

Compared to the desktop application, the main role of the mobile app is to perform inventory counting anywhere in the field. With the inventory counting process we have complete control and the most detailed recording of matches or differences in the condition of assets by comparing the expected and actual location and condition.

Barcode technology (1D or 2D) is available, while RFID technology can be used for specific projects, so that the search of assets is carried out quickly and without human errors.

The application may use built-in barcode or RFID readers. If you're using a normal smartphone, its camera can be used too, but the built-in barcode reader is highly recommended. The devices camera is also used to take pictures of the various assets.

BARCODES and RFID TAGS

Each asset is labeled with a unique barcode, stock number, and name. The label is made of durable plastic material and is resistant to water, chemicals, cleaning and many other damages. In addition, RFID tags for marking assets can also be used for some other applications, such as marking locations. Labels are easily printed directly from the desktop application – you select an item or group of items, select the label template, enter the number of copies of each label and simply print them on a connected thermal transfer printer.

Assets structure & Inventory count

The application can work with a 3-level hierarchical asset classification (the levels are linked to each other), e.g. department, building and room, while there are also 4 levels of independent classification. You can use these parameters to record more details about assets, such as responsible person, finance department, asset type, project, etc.

The inventory count process uses the location hierarchy and classification structure. This means that the mobile application allows you to count inventory in both ways: according to physical or logical classification.
